Why Devon Workplaces Should Join in With the Let’s Walk Challenge

User experience and personal recommendation are powerful tools in encouraging others to take part in Active Devon challenges. At this difficult time, when our movements are restricted, the need to take regular exercise and keep in touch with our work colleagues is even more important.

This latest podcast features Ben Evans from the Environment Agency in Devon. He has organised workplace teams to enter several of our previous challenges including ‘Let’s Walk’ and ‘Let’s Move‘.  The next Let’s Walk workplace walking challenge scheduled for this March, has a slightly different feel to it. To encourage as many people as possible to take part, it will measure moving minutes as well as steps. To find out more, and to enter a workplace team, please follow this website link.

Ben has been telling Gareth Dix about the Environment Agency’s experience of taking part previously. He highlights the benefits it brought to staff members and the organisation. Ben also explains how this latest challenge can really impact individuals health and wellbeing and help team bonding. Take a listen.
