The government invests £320m per year directly into our primary schools with the objective of achieving self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and Sport.
Yet, often teachers and primary school administrators are unsure about how exactly this money should be used to enable their students to engage with PE and sport in a positive way. All the evidence suggests that engaging children early on, in a positive way, with sport and physical activity, is key to them continuing to enjoy movement into their teens and throughout adulthood.
