Keep Moving Through the Festive Season and into the New Year

In this festive podcast Active Devon’s Gareth Dix chats with Kirsty Hill, a Public Health Specialist from Devon County Council.

Kirsty talks about her own approach to physical activity with family and friends. This includes enjoying her local neighbourhood, parks and beaches. In her local community there’s even the occasional lending or borrowing of friendly pet dogs to motivate going for walks.

Gareth asks Kirsty for some reflections on working in Public Health during such a challenging time. She emphasizes the value of physical activity, and also how communities have pulled together.

Finally Kirsty highlights some top tips to get active without feeling any pressure.  She mentions some great support services available to help us get active, stay active and most importantly stay safe. If you want further help or advice visit the One Small Step – Devon website.
