The festival will run from the 16th to 21st November and will be a blend of online and face to face events, in line with the guidelines at the time. We have a huge range of events from purpose led organisations across the city and PSEN themselves so take some time to look through all of the listings.
The theme for this year’s Social Enterprise City Festival is Educating the economy and follows on from our discussions about youth action for the climate in last years festival. And builds on the conversations started in the fantastic Regenerate Devon and ALTwork events earlier this year that explored a new economy and building back in better ways.
We want to look at the new generation of more socially conscious entrepreneurs and consumers – thinking about how we support them, how we make sure that our impact is clear to them. We also want to look at learning as a whole and how we share our knowledge, what we need to learn more about, and how we convey the knowledge we have in interesting and engaging ways. There is an opportunity to learn in everything we do and knowledge sharing is an easy way to work towards the new, more caring economy that we all crave.
