Interested in Taking Part in The Let’s Walk Challenge? 

That’s great! This month-long workplace walking challenge will be taking place in February 2020 and is part of the brand-new Let’s Walk campaign. Get a team of colleagues together, record your steps, compete against other businesses across Devon, climb the leader board and be in with a chance to win great prizes!

Sign Up Today to Take Part

Simply click on the sign-up button to the challenge platform and create a team or join an existing team of colleagues to take part in the Let’s Walk challenge. In February you will be able to log in, log your steps and start competing against other teams and workplaces across Devon.

Once you have signed up, we will be in touch regularly with information about the challenge via email.

The first day to start logging your steps will be Saturday 1st February, but don’t worry, we will send you a reminder nearer the time.

What Do I Track?
What Activities Count?Track your steps every day. Any activity which involves steps, counts, whether you’re at work or not. Make your next meeting a walking one, take the stairs instead of the lift, take a walk in your lunch break, why not walk to work? However you like to, get walking.

How Do I Track My Steps?
Using our Challenge Platform, which will be live for you to sign up to, from mid January 2020. Track your steps however you like; use your smart watch, smartphone or a pedometer. Log into the Challenge Platform, register your team and log your steps to take part. You can even log your steps based on how many minutes you have walked, it’s that simple.

How Many People In A Team?
There is no limit to the number of people per team. You can take part with just two or a 100 team members.

What If Another Team Has More People, Won’t They Get More Steps?
Your team score will be based on the average amount of steps, so it’s fair.

How Do You Win?
There will be several categories for overall competition winners, plus weekly incentives with lots of great prizes to be given away including some Fitbits, vouchers and other exciting goodies. Once you register, we’ll be in touch with all the details.

The categories for the overall competition are: 
Overall Team winners (average steps and also total steps)
Small (1-10) Medium (11-25) and Large (26+) Teams where we will calculate the average steps taken by each team.
