British Cycling
The ambition of increasing membership to 100,000 in 2013 sits alongside broader goals of inspiring participation in cycling as sport, recreation and sustainable transport through achieving worldwide success in cycle sport.
Today is the best time to start cycling - with bike ownership dwarfing car ownership, congestion, health and environmental issues at the fore of minds in Westminster - reasons to start enjoying life on two wheels have never been so compelling. With six different disciplines of cycle sport to choose from, there's one for almost everyone. From the grit and endurance testing challenges of Road Racing, Cyclo-Cross and Cross-Country MTB, through to the shorter "sprint and skill" based BMX, Track Sprint, Downhill, 4-Cross and Cycle Speedway, cycle sport has an amazing bredth matched by few other sports.

Go-Ride also includes club development and accreditation strands, plus delivery through schools. Go-Ride lso supports a novice under-16 competition programme called Go-Ride Racing.
Sky Ride & Sky Pro Cycling
Sky Ride is a national campaign from Sky and British Cycling created to inspire and help everyone - whatever their age or ability - to get on their bikes and have fun. Our ambition is to get 1 million more people cycling regularly by 2013 and we've created a whole range of ways for people to get involved. From big traffic-free events, to local rides, from routes and trails to courses and training, there's something for everyone. The Sky Pro Cycling Team is the other major link up between British Cycling and Sky, a world-class road racing team targeting the Tour de France and other leading races.
