Funding for Sport and Physical Activity

If you need funding for physical acitvity or sport projects there are a number of different options available to you.  Whether you apply for grants or funding streams, embark on fundraising activities or explore sponsorship opportunities, we hope these pages will support and guide you and possibly provide the inspiration needed to secure the funding you need.

sports coach UK in partnership with the CSPN Coaching Leads have produced the Funding Opportunities for Coaching guide in an effort to provide the most up to date and relevant funding that is available to support coaching across England. 

Please note that whilst Active Devon can signpost you to details of funding sources, we do not have funding to distribute except through a few specific targeted programmes eg Sportivate and Coach Bursaries. Funding Workshops

Active Devon organise Funding Workshops for groups to provide advice and guidance on applying for funding. This 3 hour workshop looks at both specific and generic funding sources and how to increase your chances of success when making applications.
